The Chaves Knives line is committed to creating durable, stylish, and premium knives and tools.


Each model from the Chaves line was designed by USA-based knifemaker Ramon Chavez. His designs have become popular because of their rugged and ergonomic construction, and this production line creates them in larger quantities and at a more accessible price.


The line is manufactured by Reate using the best materials available and exacting standards of excellence. Because of their quality, issues like blade play, stiff action, and lock stick do not affect Chaves knives. Models are made in small batches, so if one speaks to you, don't wait around on it. Once it's gone, it may be a while before it's back.
